Job Description

Responsibilities of Technical Recruiter

  • Write and post technical job descriptions to relevant sites and for external recruiters.
  • Source potential candidates on niche platforms, like Stack Overflow and Github
  • Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen resumes
  • Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities
  • Provide creative and unconventional techniques in sourcing passive candidates
  • Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)
  • Coordinate with IT team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs
  • Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
  • Participate in blockchain and cryptocurrency conferences and meetups to network with potential talent
  • Compose job offer letters
  • Onboard new hires
  • In conjunction with Senior HR Manager, drive employer branding efforts to increase awareness of Paxful
  • Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements
  • Keep up-to-date with news and trends in the cryptocurrency industry

Basic qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter
  • Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, Skype and structured)
  • Experience closing senior level candidates
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Strong interest in bitcoin and blockchain technology
  • Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience from financial technology, blockchain or cryptocurrency companies.
  • Fluency in Russian, Estonian is a plus
  • Wide network of IT-related contacts
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, IT or other relevant topic
